Eray Şen / Adana, Sep 14 () - Within the “Çukurova Excavations 2nd International Chronology” meeting, archaeologists gathered in Tatarlı and Sirkeli Mounds in Turkey’s southern province of Adana.
The meeting titled “Chronology of Cilicia addressed preparations for an updated and local chronology, with respect to new excavation findings.
“The early Bronze Age, Middle Bronze Age and late Bronze Age have been debated comparatively. Within the closing meeting, international particpants were hosted in Tatarlı and then Sirkeli Mounds, for ongoing debates.
Along with academiciens in Çukurova and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Universities in the region, Professor Deniz Yaşin Meier from Bern University have hosted the event.
