Tahsin Güner / Ankara, July 27 () - In the capital Ankara, a pre-dawn operation was launched against suspected ISIL members, targeting multiple locations at the Hacıbayram neighborhood of Ulus district. Police teams blocked the entrance and exit of the neighborhood.
Some speculations about Ankara's Hacıbayram have been raised, as the neighborhood had been alledged to host about 100 people suspected to have joined the ranks of ISIL, by the New York Times’ report in late 2014.
Within the operation, launched in cooperation with anti-terror units and police teams from other units, 15 people were detained. It was reported that a police helicopter also backed up the operation.
