Ankara, July 28 () – President Tayyip Erdoğan declared that he expects the NATO to give a statement announcing that they are ready to do their part.
“Establishing a security zone there would set up the infrastructure for 1.7 million Syrians in Turkey to return to their country. Turkey will exercise its rights to protect itself; the responsibilites will also fall to NATO at any moment. The NATO should be prepared too” urged Erdoğan.
The President also referred to the peace process, declaring, “It is not possible to pursue the peace process with the ones who have evil intentions over our national unity and fraternity”.
