Ramazan Sarıkayalı / Antalya, Sep 22 () – In ancient site of Rhodiapolis located in Kumluca district of Antalya resort province, while the 2015 year round of excavation works have been completed, the restoration works were boosted.
The excavation works have been launched in 2006 in the region, and after one year of break, the works have been resumed this year.
A team including three archaeologists, three students and nine workers, led by Head of Antalya Museum Mustafa Demirel, has been carrying out works particularly in the Cenotaph’s southern and western zones in the last one month.
The team announced around three ceramic workshops and ruins of a glass workshop has been unearthed within the excavations so far.
Furthermore, around 15 trucks of padding material have been brought to light.
