Istanbul, Sep 2 () - Dollar currency in Turkey exceeded 2.95 liras again, as concerns in global markets on slowing Chinese economy and security concerns in Turkey have accelerated.

While the dollar opened the day over 2.92 liras on Sep. 2, it reached 2.9525 liras after the announcement that 18 Turkish workers were kidnapped in Iraq and then fell to the range of 2.9480 - 2.9490 liras, affected by the global market concerns along with this incident having sparked in Middle East.

Accordingly, Euro exceeded 3.33 liras and began to shift around 3.32 liras.

Concerns at the heart of global economy regarding a possible impact of Chinese economy showing a significant slowdown in numbers have boosted sales in the Turkey market.
