Antalya, Sep 2 () – The World Golf Amateur Team Championship will gather international golf enthusiasts across the world in Mediterranean resort town of Antalya on September 3-6.
The amateur championship organized by Turkish Golf Federation will host 60 male and 20 female golfers at Carya Golf Club in Belek tourism center.
While within the tournament for women amateur golf players from different corners of the world such as Bulgaria, Germany, Lebanon, Russia and South Korea will flock to the golf club, while Turkey’s male golf players will compete with Greek, Italian, Dutch, Swiss, Lithuanian players.
Last year, Sena Ersoy has won the women tournament, and marked the first Turkish female winner after 8 years in Istanbul’s Kemer Golf Center, while Italian Paolo Ferris has ranked first with 215 putts.
